A quick note about a great show at Two Boots, Bridgeport
last night.
- This was my first chance to see North Shore Troubadours.
This New Haven based surf-intro band was just great! 5
talented guys including spot-on surf classic tenor sax from
Aaron. Wonderful, fat, classic surf sound. Trad, yet punched
up! Great Shadows, Shadowy men and other covers. Great
originals too. They did a ska piece that nailed the sound of
an old favorite of mine, Madness. See these gentlemen time
after time for satisfying surf!
