We started in highschool. Austin and I. We played our local skatepark once and other local hangouts. We picked up Taylor in 2010. He is why we get anything done so we are glad we got him.
We dig The Challengers, Beach Boys, Gene Vincent and His Blue Caps, Louis Jordan.
- One cassette on More Power Tapes
- One split single with The Fox Sisters (incredible rhythm and blues group from Rochester) also on Reel Time
We use Fender guitars and Fender amps. I'm ready for something new though. I'd like a Gretsch Duo Jet.
Taylor drives and myself and Austin usually walk. (ed. note - Well, I think that's how they get TO gigs!)
Besides for the fact that we can't play a gig every night (which we would), none. It drives the kids wild as all hell. It's difficult not to be distracted by the booty shaking that goes on in the front row. The scene is good. We have Harmonica Lewinski, The Fox Sisters, Temptators, Roger Kuhn, plus other wild groups.
Myself and Austin are classically trained. We were in school band all through
our school days. We are young, dumb, handsome. Just like the crowd. So we tend
to know what they want.
We use radio, hand bills, and the internet. Turns out that the internet is very popular too.
We played Ribfest 2015. It's exactly what it sounds like. When we played there were small children dancing while their families rolled around in BBQ sauce. It was awesome!
We would like to meet other rockers. Get them to play our town, party with them and play their town.
14. Anything else?
Thanks NESMA, Reel Time Records, Buddy Holly, and you, for reading this.
