Band Name: Tsunamibots
Genre: Robotic Surf Punk Rock
Geographical Area: World Domination (Primarily New England)
Interview with: The Main Frame, Master Circuit, and Tomadore64 by email on November 30, 2015
Since humans cannot understand our binary code names we use the human names:
The Main Frame – Bass
Master Circuit – Drums
Tomadore64 - Guitar
Tomadore64 uses a Gretsch Electomatic Hollowbody with TV Jones pickups and of course a Bigsby. For amplification he uses a Fender Vibro-King which has been modified for maximum CRUSH. Effects are strictly proprietary. The circuitry is too complicated for puny human brains to understand
The Main Frame uses a Fender Jazz Bass plugged directly into his robot frame. All sound comes out of speakers built into his torso.
Master Circuit’s drum kit is assembled out of Titanium shells and all drum heads are made out of human skin!
By force! Resistance to the Robotic Uprising is futile!
Robots do not understand the word 'difficulties.' Humans either enjoy the soothing sounds of the Robotic Uprising or are crushed! No difficulties at all.
We are merciful to our human slaves. Some robots crush humans upon sight. We prefer to enslave the humans to polish our transistors and carry our gear around.
You may know our cousin, The Internet, he has been very helpful in spreading the Robotic Uprising message. Other than that, we have found organizing Robotic Uprising meetings at local bars very effective.
Well at one of our performances we inadvertently crushed all the humans during the first song. We were then forced to play the rest of the set to our electronic kin the cash register and the phone.
We believe NESMA will be useful servants…uh we mean… partners in the spread of Robotic Surf Rock music!
14. Anything else?'
The only way to appease the Tsunamibots and be spared from crushing is to download our music at: www.tsunamibots.bandcamp.com., we are also available on iTunes and Spotify. If a human is seen wearing Tsunamibots apparel, which can be purchased at www.tsunamibots.com, they will be spared crushing. We would like to give a big robot shout out to HAL 9000 for continued support and to all the fan-bots that come to our shows. For further show information please visit:
